Configuring a Match

While match can be used without configuration, for it to be useful, it must be configured. The configuration tells the match algorithms how to operate on your organizations' unique forms and data.

Each enrollment period has a separate match configuration, allowing your matching rules to grow and change over time.

The match configuration page has a few parts:

First is the the match type. Currently, multi-offer matches are the only matches supported. We're working on adding other match types in the future.

Second is the school rules for each match. Each school in your organization has a separate set of rules that dictate how forms applying for those schools are matched. The rules for each school can be changed to meet the unique needs of placements in each school.

If your organization has many schools, you can use the built-in search functionality to find the schools you need.

School rules are currently configured with your Avela representative.
