Possible student duplicates are flagged on the student profile. Potential duplicates are based on exact match of first name, last name, and date of birth.
If a student profile duplicate is found, you need to decide what the move forward student is. We recommend the one that has the most recent relevant forms.
Once you have determined this, a few actions you can do includes:
- Unlinking the archived student from the parent
- Marking the archived student inactive
- Canceling all forms on the archived student
- Renaming the student with “duplicate” or “archive in the titlle
