When setting up a new enrollment cycle, or any time you copy a form to start over and discard the previous one, you may want to keep the exact setup you had for automatic messages. Instead of recreating the messages from scratch, you can import the automatic messages from a previous form. This saves a lot of time (especially if you have school specific content!), prevents mistakes, and helps you test and launch forms quickly and efficiently.
Before importing
| 💡 If you'd like to import messages that are school specific, make sure the form you're importing to has that capacity enabled first. To do that, go to Settings and navigate to School specific messages. Once that's on, you're good to go! |
Importing from existing Forms
- After creating the new form, go to "Automatic messages".
- Select "Import", then click on "From existing form"
3. Pick the form you'd like to import from. You'll be able to recognize them by name, ID, or even date it was last modified. You can also easily click on the icon to get to the form itself and do one last check!
| ⚠️ Bear in mind, importing automatic messages will replace anything you may have already customized for them. |
4. Confirm, and you're good to go!
